Police arrest five New Hampshire teens in pipe bombings

Police said today they arrested five New Hampshire teenagers in a rash of pipe bombings that targeted portable toilets, pay telephones and mailboxes in Vermont and New Hampshire.

Vermont State Police said they had charged the five with possession and use of a destructive device in connection with up to 12 explosions in Royalton.

Four of the teens are from Enfield, New Hampshire. They were identified as 16-year-old Joshua Martin, 16-year-old Brady Jennings, 17-year-old Donald Cross and 16-year-old Adam George. The fifth, 18-year-old Allen Picken, is from Orange, New Hampshire.

They are to appear in court on September fifth on possession and use of a destructive device charges.

No one has been hurt in the incidents.
