Vermont State Police detectives are continuing to investigate an armed robbery in Wallingford in which a clerk was forced into a bathroom at knifepoint.

Video surveillance from the late Tuesday afternoon robbery appears to show the suspect with his hand on the neck of the clerk from the Smart Shop in North Main Street, who later told investigators she was forced into the bathroom while the suspect stole cash.

The suspect is described as a male between 5-feet-5 and 5-feet-9 inches tall. He was last seen wearing all black, including a hooded sweat-shirt, pants, face mask and gloves.

Police are looking for witnesses who might have seen a person riding a bicycle on Creek Road or Dorr Drive on Tuesday morning.
