Police Investigates Cow Killings In St. Albans

A Vermont police department is investigating the killing of two Holstein cows on a St. Albans dairy farm.

Police were called to the Ladd Farm on Saturday and determined that one of the cows had been killed while tied up in barn. The second animal was killed in an adjacent pasture.

Police say the throats of both animals had been slit.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the St. Albans police department.
