The Vermont State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Proctor.

Police say the suspect is being treated for injuries received in the shooting Wednesday evening.

Police won’t say who was involved or describe the events of the incident, but more information will be released later.

It was the second officer involved shooting in Vermont this week.

On Monday a burglary suspect was shot in the hand in Bristol by a state police trooper after the suspect allegedly threatened officers with a golf club.
