Police now say the driver who was killed along with his girlfriend and infant son on Interstate 89 in Bolton had a cast on his left foot, not his right.

Police said 29-year-olds Jason Potvin and April Otis and 8-month-old Hunter Potvin of Williamstown were killed Monday.

Potvin was heading north when his Subaru went off the road, crossed the median and crashed into an oncoming pickup truck.

That driver, John Hill of Concord, New Hampshire, was treated and released from a hospital.

State police say his cast was on his left foot, not his right foot as originally reported. Spokeswoman Stephanie Dasaro apologized for the mistake.

The Burlington Free Press reports that Potvin’s license was suspended in October.
