A top aide to congressional candidate Martha Rainville is leaving her campaign.

Former campaign spokesman William Noyes is taking another job.

Rainville campaign spokesman Nathan Rice says Noyes had several job opportunities when he left the Vermont National Guard along with Rainville at the beginning of April. Rice says one of those opportunities is about to pay off for Noyes.

For the last nine years Noyes worked for the Vermont National Guard as deputy adjutant general for Rainville. He had 26 years of experience as a National Guard public affairs officer.

Rainville is seeking the Republican nomination to run for the U.S. House seat being vacated by Bernie Sanders.
