(Host) Republican U.S. House candidate Martha Rainville announced late this afternoon that she’s returning a campaign contribution she received from a political action committee.
The $1,000 donation came from “Don’s PAC” – a group formed by Congressman Don Sherwood of Pennsylvania. Sherwood is the target of a federal lawsuit alleging domestic abuse.
Rainville said in a press release that she decided to return the check when the allegations were brought to her attention.
