Reflections on musical a visit to China

This week, and next week, much of the world’s focus will be on China, and its Olympic games.  But for many Americans, it’s still a world away, and a place that many will never have the chance to experience firsthand.  But, last summer a group of young Vermont musicians were lucky enough to do so.  Members of the Vermont Youth Orchestra traveled to China, and performed in magnificent concert halls, and even played at The Great Wall of China.   We thought we’d listen back to one student’s reflections about playing on the Great Wall.
