(Host) A public forum on racial harassment will be held in Montpelier on Wednesday, the 74th anniversary of the birth of Martin Luther King. There will be an awareness march beginning at City Hall at ll:45 a.m., followed by a forum hosted by Representative Mark Larson:
(Larson) “Our hope is to raise conversation about the issues, about the impact of racial harassment in our state; to provide some motivation for some legislation that we’re introducing, which we hope to use to increase accountability.”
(Host) Representative Mark Larson of Burlington is the lead sponsor of new bills to address racial harassment in schools and the workplace.
