There’s still no sign of a missing Middlebury College freshman who vanished three weeks ago, but authorities are hoping a $20,000 reward will lead to his safe return.

Middlebury Police say a foundation put up $5,000 and the mother of 19-year-old Nicholas Garza contributed another $15,000.

Garza was last seen on campus February 5th, but Middlebury Police Chief Thomas Hanley says police can’t figure out what happened after he left a party.

Heavy snow began falling soon after that. Hanley says searchers have used ground-penetrating radar, but that it’s still possible searchers missed Garza’s body.
