Vermont State Police say a fire in a Rutland warehouse on Sunday was intentionally set.

The fire in the basement of the Cleveland Avenue warehouse began around 2p.m.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire with minimal damage to the building which once housed a print shop and dress factory.

Vermont State Police detectives searched the scene yesterday and ruled the fire was arson. The Rutland Police Department is continuing the investigation.
