School bus driver charged with drunken driving

A 50-year-old Hartford man faces a charge of driving a school bus while drunk stemming from an incident at the Hartland Elementary School.

Vermont State Police say they charged Paul McMorris with drunken driving and drunken driving of a school bus.

Police say they were called Friday by the school principal, who reported that it appeared McMorris was drinking.

By the time police arrived, McMorris had left the school. He was found later at home, taken to the Woodstock police station and cited.
