Authorities in Burlington say they’ve suspended their search for a sailor missing in Lake Champlain since last weekend.
Police say 49-year-old Art Brown, of Stowe, disappeared August 4th when he dove into Shelburne Bay to retrieve a piece of equipment. Divers have spent a week looking for his body, to no avail.
Authorities believe that if Brown’s body is still in the water, it will eventually surface on its own.
