Senator John McCain to visit Vermont

U.S. Senator John McCain will visit Vermont later this month to campaign for Republican congressional candidate Martha Rainville.

Rainville says she and McCain will host a town hall meeting to talk to Vermonters about topics such as ethics reform in Congress, fiscal responsibility and national security.

The event will take place on July 22nd. The time and location have not yet been determined.

Rainville, the former head of the Vermont National Guard, is seeking the Republican nomination to run for the seat in Congress now held by Bernard Sanders.
