Low voter turnout expected

Vermont’s terrorism risk
In the year after the September 11 attacks, the state launched a new program to respond to any terrorist incidents in Vermont. The state homeland security office also gathers intelligence on potential threats and works with other federal and state agencies. Mt. Tabor wild fire
Officials with the Green Mountain National Forest say there’s a small wildfire burning in Mount Tabor. The four-acre blaze was spotted over the weekend and officials say it was probably caused by a lightning strike. (AP)
