Gov. Peter Shumlin will speak at a conference of the International Association of Fire Fighters in Washington.
Shumlin is expected to address the nearly 800 members of the association at an annual legislative conference today.
The Vermont firefighters organization says in his first term, Shumlin has worked to bring vital training for both firefighters and paramedics across the state.
