Earlier this year, VPR invited singers Deb Flanders and Michele Choiniere into the Performance Studio to share folk songs from the Quebecois tradition.
One song, "A la Claire Fontaine," was sung in Michele’s family and passed down through generations. She describes it as a love song, with the refrain – "it’s so long since I loved you, I’ll never forget you."
