(Host) Back to our series reviewing the events of the past year. This time in Sounds of 2008, music.

Public radio’s own, Garrison Keillor, headlined the Champlain Valley Fair at the end of the summer.

He brought "A Prairie Home Companion” – along with all of the stories, jokes and music – before a sellout crowd.

The music included a piece that summed up the evening.

(Keillor) "Beautiful night in Vermont. How can we not play this beautiful old song. Tune called `Moonlight in Vermont.”
