A company that makes bristles for toothbrushes, paint brushes and cosmetics is moving 25 to 30 jobs to Vermont. Specialty Filaments says it is closing its production line in Leominster, Massachusetts, and moving to its factory in Middlebury. The Massachusetts site will continue to be a warehouse and distribution center.

It’s the second time in a year that Specialty Filament has consolidated work from some of its other factories around the country to Vermont. Last summer it announced it would close its South Carolina factory and consolidate it to Middlebury. The company employs 100 in Middlebury and 150 in Burlington.
