St. Johnsbury Athenaeum re-opens

One of Vermont’s first public libraries is re-opening its doors after a year-long renovation project. The Saint Johnsbury Athenaeum underwent a year-long, $1.2 million renovation to update the library’s heating and plumbing systems. Grants also helped pay for the restoration of the building’s original hand-painted ceiling, light fixtures and windows.
