The principal of the St. Johnsbury School is fighting back against a rash of recent bomb threats. Janet Haley says the six threats this month are disruptive and draw the school’s resources away from teaching and into policing.

She says half of the threats came from students in third and fourth grade. The other three were made by seventh- and eighth-graders. The perpetrators face in-school suspension and restorative justice sessions with their parents, as well as other penalties.
