VPR is talking to the major party candidates for statewide office this campaign season. Today we turn to Ed Stanak, the Progressive Party candidate for Vermont Attorney General.

The longtime Barre City resident says he brings an activist background to the table, with 35 years of experience in the legal system.

Stanak spent 31 years as the Act 250 coordinator for Washington and Lamoille counties.

He has also been an active member of the Vermont State Employees Association, where he served as president from 2001 until 2006.
