(Host) The Vermont state auditor is looking at how a regional technical academy in Chittenden handled two million dollars in state money.

Auditor Randy Brock says he doesn’t suspect any wrongdoing, but it’s his role to ensure that taxpayers’ money is used as intended. Brock’s office is investigating the regional technical academy project that is ending because voters rejected the proposal. Brock is also investigating technical schools in Newport and Addison County.

The audit seeks to learn if the state has the policies and procedures in place to monitor how the money was spent.
