The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department wants to hear from the public about the northern pike fishing regulations on Lake Champlain.

There is currently no closed season for the popular sports fish, and anglers are limited to five fish a day, measuring at least 20 inches long.

Northern pike are one of the most popular sport fish sought by Vermont anglers in the open water and ice fishing seasons on the big lake.

Anyone interested in commenting on the rules, is asked to fill out an online survey at www.vtfishandwildlife.com
