The Lund Family Center in Burlington has won a $1.5 million federal grant. The money was awarded by the Substance and Mental Health Services Administration.

It’ll be used over the next three years to help expand substance abuse treatment for pregnant women and new mothers, particularly pre-treatment and after-care services for those women. The center estimates that 345 people will be served, including the mothers, their children and other family members.
