Occupy Burlington protesters have been encamped at City Hall Park for nearly two weeks, now. About 40 tents fill the southern half of the park, with people playing music and congregating in small groups on the walkways and by the center fountain.
Late last night the crowd grew from a few dozen protesters to several hundred as people were drawn to City Hall Park for a performance by the punk rock band Gogol Bordello.
Protesters say they hope events like this concert inspire more people to join their movement.
VPR’s Patti Daniels spent time in the park to hear what motivates people who are part of the Occupy movement.
