We head to the basement at the Statehouse to tour a room that’s out of public view and is rarely used these days. But for legislators in the late 1800’s it was a place that provided a necessary “relief.”

And though the room has been superseded by other more modern versions, curator David Schutz still appreciates its original, grand style in taking care of basic (human) needs. (To hear the story, click on the “Listen” icon.)
