Three people have been arrested following a Vermont Drug Task Force investigation of a methamphetamine operation.

Investigators said they made multiple controlled buys of powder meth from a home in Hancock. The investigation indicated the meth was being made at the home and that the hazardous material that it produces was being dumped and burned on the property.

Police on Tuesday arrested 44-year-old Michael Wood and 20-year-old Steven Arnold at Wood’s home in Hancock on a charge of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.

They also arrested 32-year-old Meegan Smith of Hancock on an outstanding warrant from New York on a meth charge. She also has two arrest warrants from Vermont.
