Tinmouth To Continue Mix Of Floor Votes, Ballots

Tinmouth residents have been at odds over how to vote on town meeting day. But in a special election Tuesday, they decided to continue using a mixture of floor votes and secret ballots.

According to town clerk Gail Fallar, Tinmouth will decide budgets and public questions from the floor, but use Australian balloting to elect town officers.

The results mirror those made back in March on town meeting day. Tinmouth residents have been voting back and forth on the issue since 2006.
