Torrential Rain Hits Flood-Weary Southern Vermont

(Host) Vermont Emergency Management tells VPR it is warning city and town emergency officials about torrential rains in southern Vermont.

Many brooks and streams in the area are already bank-full.

Mark Bosma is a spokesman with Vermont Emergency Management. He says people should keep an eye on rivers and streams.

The National Weather Service in Burlington and Albany say culverts could become a problem overnight.
