The Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing is going to help 19 private businesses market their services out of state.
The state is awarding $130,000 in matching grants through the Fund for Tourism Marketing Initiatives program.
The grants help organizations and businesses build or expand events, market programs and advertising campaigns as well as public relations programs.
The funds will be awarded in dollar for dollar matching grants, up to $20,000.
Some of the recipients include the Asian Cultural Center of Vermont in Brattleboro, the Bennington Museum, the Bryan Memorial Gallery in Jeffersonville and The Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich.
