A WCAX-TV news reporter is facing criminal charges following an incident at a bar.
Police say Matt Henson groped a woman at a Lyndonville bar Thursday night and fought with the bar’s staff. He’s charged with lewd and lascivious conduct, and disorderly conduct.
WCAX says a woman told police Henson tried to touch twice under her clothes before pinning her to a wall outside the bar. She told police she got away and went to a bouncer. Police say Henson’s blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit. He’s due in court next month.
Channel 3 News Director Anson Tebbetts says Henson’s been put on leave effective immediately as the station tries to learn more about the allegations.
