Two southern Vermont men have been charged in last week’s stabbing death of a Winhall man.

Twenty-six year-old Joshua Gould of Rutland is charged with second-degree murder, unlawful restraint and grand larceny for the killing of 24-year-old Renato Wieser of Winhall.

Twenty-seven-year-old Christopher Kosmalski of East Dorset faces charges of unlawful restraint, grand larceny and being an accessory.

Vermont State Police say Kosmalski and Wieser worked together in a painting business.

Police charge Gould with tying up Wieser at his parents’ home and assaulting him. Gould and Kosmalski are accused of stealing gold coins, silver, jewelry and watches before Gould allegedly stabbed Wieser.

They were arrested yesterday in Florida.
