Two Vermonters will be among the people honored at a Washington D.C. ceremony for fallen law enforcement officers Thursday evening.
Vermont State Police Sergeant Michael Johnson and Essex County Deputy Sheriff Ruby Rainault were both killed on duty in 2003. They will be among the 362 officers who will be remembered at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington.
