U.S. Transportation Secretary in Vermont Friday

U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will be in Vermont tomorrow, at the invitation of Senator Bernie Sanders.

His visit comes on the heels of a speech today by President Obama calling for a big investment in passenger rail.

Secretary LaHood spoke with VPR’s Neal Charnoff.

Note: U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will be part of a Town Meeting on Transportation on Friday at 2:30pm at the Statehouse in Montpelier.
