Unionized faculty members at the University of Vermont are celebrating the school’s first union contract. The contract was unanimously approved yesterday by all faculty members who voted. Union representatives and UVM President Daniel Fogel are planning to sign the agreement Friday. The contract grants faculty a 16% pay raise over three years. The faculty voted two years ago to unionize.
