University of Vermont men’s hockey goalie Joe Fallon is turning pro.
UVM says the senior netminder who holds UVM’s all-time shutout record and is second all-time on the national shutout record has signed a professional contract with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Fallon is from Bemidji, Minnesota.
This season Fallon helped lead the Catamounts to the Hockey East Conference final.
