UVM men win America East soccer title

The University of Vermont men’s soccer team will learn today which team it will play in the first round of the NCAA College Cup.

On Saturday, the Catamounts won the 2007 America East championship with a 1-0 victory Saturday over Binghamton in Vestal, New York.

UVM used a first half goal by Jordon Crasilneck and the defensive play by goalkeeper Roger Scully to secure the win.

It’s UVM’s fourth conference championship and their first since 2000.
