Vallee appointed to White House advisory group

A Vermont businessman who has been prominent in helping Republicans raise money has been appointed to a White House advisory group. “Skip” Vallee will serve on the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations. That 32-member committee gives advice to the US Trade Representative in advance of trade negotiations.

Among the others on the committee with Vallee are the governor of Connecticut, the chief executive of IBM and other business representatives. Vallee is a member of the Republican National Committee and a leader in Vermont Republican politics.
