Vermont attracts new residents

A new survey says more people are moving into Vermont than out of it. And a nationwide ranking puts Vermont first for that trend. Allied Van Lines, which surveys all the states every year, says almost 70 percent of its Vermont shipments last year were inbound. That’s the highest rate in the country. Vermont was followed by Alaska, Montana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Oregon and Maine.
