A Vermont judge has ordered a recount in the Progressive party primary for governor to start Thursday morning.

Write-in candidate Annette Smith asked for the re-count after a corrected vote tally showed she lost the nomination by one vote.

Superior Court Judge Robert Bent ordered town clerks to transport the ballots and the voter check lists to courts in each county. Bent said the re-count should begin on Sept. 13 at 9 a.m.
