Vermont marble is being used in a new memorial to the USS Oklahoma, one of the ships sunk during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Tomorrow is the 66th anniversary of that attack.

A monument to the 429 sailors and Marines who died on the Oklahoma will be made with 429 white Vermont marble standards.

The white marble will be surrounded by Italian black granite panels etched with a silhouette of the battleship.
