Lawrence Millman is an author and mycologist whose work has taken him from Samoa to the Canadian Arctic. He’s written 15 books including his latest, Fascinating Fungi of New England. It’s the first book to be devoted exclusively to New England mushrooms.
Millman talked with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about why the mushroom crop this year is so bountiful year and what to look for when foraging for the fungi.
