Educators from Duxbury and Saint Albans are being recognized for their excellence in teaching math and science.
Math teacher Donna Cook from Harwood Union High School and science teacher Jennifer Kennison from Bellows Free Academy are receiving Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
Cook and Kennison will receive $10,000 grants from the National Science Foundation and an all-expenses paid trip to Washington for a week of events celebrating the award.
One hundred teachers from across the country are receiving similar awards.
