Vermont unemployment rate drops slightly

Vermont’s unemployment rate dropped a tenth of a percentage point in May, to 4.1%. That compares to a national unemployment rate of 6.1% for last month. Construction activity appeared to grow slower than usual this spring. And the manufacturing sector remains sluggish.
