Presidential and gubernatorial candidates weren’t the only ones making news this week.  The Corrections department looked into the cause of a disturbance at the Rutland Jail.  The Sheriff in Orange County created a special unit to investigate sex crimes.  The state says it will expand heating assistance eligibility.  Town clerks urge Vermonters to vote.  Several Vermont officials came out in support a second economic stimulus plan.  And, artist B Amore shows her work at a gallery in Brandon.
