The Vermont court system will need to ask the legislature for more money to update the court’s computer system. Both the state and lawyers for Vermont Yankee now have filed written arguments to a federal appeals court, as the legal battle continues over the future of the Vermont Yankee nuclear plant. It’s crunch time at many colleges and universities. Some students reach for stimulants to help them pull all-nighters cramming for tests—and to party afterwards–and we’re not just talking about coffee.  VPR’s Charlotte Albright reports on drug abuse that’s not easy to spot—or to curb.
