Today Vermont dairy farmers are getting about $11 per hundred pounds of milk but it costs about $18 to produce.  Some are going deeper in debt to stay afloat; others are just going out of business.  The situation has farmers and government officials talking about what to do.  Reporter John Dillon speaks with VPR’s Steve Zind about where things stand and what solutions are being offered.
