Seventy-two percent of public schools in Vermont are not meeting the Adequate Yearly Progress goals required by the No Child Left Behind Act. VPR’s Steve Zind talks with Jeanne Collins, superintendent of the Burlington School District, where all nine schools did not meet AYP targets, about whether this is the best method for tracking school achievement.
