Vermont State Police are investigating the death of a 63-year-old Barnard woman whose body was found inside her burning house.
Police say the body of Cynthia Ann Rhodes was discovered by firefighters responding to a fire at her home Sunday morning.
Barnard firefighters who responded to the blaze called in the state police fire investigation unit, which continues to investigate both the fire and the death.
